留住台中城市的歷史起源，擦亮眼光與靈魂
不用羨慕紐約的High Line，台灣其實也可以有歷史源遠流長的景點，可吸引各地的旅客，關鍵只在人們有沒有認知到：過往的一切與我們所存在的現在、以及即將來到的未來之間有什麼樣的關聯，歷史不只是已經發生、已經過去的事情而已，他還與現在緊密地連結，影響到你我生活中的每一個層面，並且延伸至各種不同可能性的未來；我們現在所決定的每一件事都，影響到未來可能呈現的不同樣貌，羨慕別人、別的城市、別的國家有不同的風情，那就得先思考別人是如何思考與轉化他們的過去以放眼未來，而不是只是花大錢出門觀光，炫耀他人歷史文化的結晶，然後回過頭來貶低自己百年的血淚與進程。
